Logs Settings

The Logs Settings tab is used to configure the event settings to use when the station log is being executed. From this tab the user can set all Spot Blocks and Macros to be Fixed. The Juggle Behavior of the events when juggled, can be configured from this tab. The Logs Settings tab is also used to set an Appearance and assign a Row Highlight for the station to give the Modules some color.

Treat Spot Blocks as Fixed

The Treat Spot Blocks as Fixed option is used with Backtiming. This option will set all Spot Blocks in the Log as Fixed. If a Spot Block is set as Fixed the events in the spot block are also fixed.

Treat Macros as Fixed

The Treat Macros as Fixed option is used to set all Macros scheduled in a log as Fixed. When a macro is set as fixed all events within the Macro are set as fixed. When this option is enabled the Fixed option for each Macro will be set to fixed in the properties pane and cannot be changed.

Juggle Behavior

The Juggle Behavior section is used to set 'Move Chain while Juggle', 'Move Fixed while Juggle' and 'Move Stretch while Juggle'. When these options are checked, the properties will move with the event on a juggle. If they are unchecked, the properties stay at the original position. This means the Chain, Fixed or Stretch property of the event will not move with the juggled event.

If juggling an event to a position, but not moving the property with the event, the default property of the event will be used if the property is not supported by the event. Example: If a link set to auto post chain and a song are juggled, and the 'Move Chain while Juggling' is NOT checked, the song will get a chain of segue.

The below enumerates different log event types and whether the Stretch / Fixed / Chain property is supported on that log event type.

Appearance

Use the Appearance drop-down to select an Appearance that is created in the Themes & Appearances Configuration window. The Appearance selected here is also observed in Zetta2GO.

Row Highlight

Use the Row Highlight drop-down to select a Row Highlight appearance that is created in the Themes & Appearances Configuration window. The Row Highlight selected here is also observed in Zetta2GO.

Predictive Air Times in Logs and Clocks

The 'Predictive Air Times in Logs and Clocks' option will cause the log and clocks to process future hard/soft ETM events showing the pre-drop of events around the ETM events. It will adjust airtime on events after a Soft ETM to reflect cumulative airtime of previous timed segment respecting any pre-drops. This option will respect the Soft ETM early window for "early fires". Any log adjustment (add / delete / skip event; segue adjustment; user hitting [next] early...) will update projected future air times throughout the day. Any log errors (events outside run dates, events with no audio assigned, inactive assets... situations where Zetta shows red (x) to indicate a problem) are considered having runtime of zero, and so are not included in airtime calculations. Stretch to ETM is not factored into these air time calculations. The airtime projections are based on the assumption the station operates in Auto mode.

Include Virtual Events in the Queue

The 'Include Virtual Events in Queue' option when enabled tells Zetta to look for Virtual Log Events that are part of the Asset. The Virtual Log Events are added to the Asset in the Virtual Log Events tab of the Metadata card for the asset. To view these events in the On-Air module select the Events filter in the On-Air module header.

Update the Spot Blocks in GSelector when the Fill Length changes

If the 'Update the Spot Blocks in GSelector when the Fill Length changes' is enabled, when the Fill length of a Spot Block changes, in the stations log, Zetta will send the new fill length to GSelector. This option is only available when GSelector Integration is enabled in the Features section of the General tab in the System Configuration window.

Use Fallback Daily Schedule Reconciliation to GSelector®

The 'Use Fallback Daily Schedule Reconciliation to GSelector® (enabled only under RCS supervision!)' option is available only when the Reconcile Logs to GSelector option is enabled in the Scheduled Maintenance tab of the System Configuration window. When this option is selected, Zetta will reconcile the integrated stations played log for the previous day with GSelector during scheduled maintenance.

Important Note!

Under normal circumstances play statues are pushed over to GSelector as the log plays so this setting is not needed. Contact RCS Support before enabling the Use Fallback Daily Schedule Reconciliation to GSelector option.

Log handling on Mini-Log placement

Mini-Logs can cover a Single Hour, Multiple Hours in the same day or Multiple Hours spanning days. The 'Log Handling on Mini-Log placement' drop-down is used to select how Zetta will handle existing events in the station log when a Mini-Log is placed into the Log. Keep Existing events will keep the events that exist in the station log where the Mini-Log is inserted. Skip existing events will keep but skip the events that exist in the station log where the Mini-Log is inserted. Delete existing events will remove the existing events from the station log where the Mini-Log is inserted.

If the Mini-Log has no TOH Markers, it gets flattened into the Log at the very position where it was inserted. If the Mini-Log has one or more Top of Hour Markers then the Events in Mini-Log prior to the first TOH Marker (if any) get flattened at the very position where the Mini-Log was inserted. The existing events in the SAME hour that are below the insertion position are treated as per the Log Handling on Mini-Log placement setting. The events that follow the TOH Marker get flattened and inserted right after the NEXT TOH in Log and the existing log events already present in the hour (if any) are treated per the Log Handling on Mini-Log placement setting. When a Mini-Log is flattened it becomes part of the log and changes made in the Library will not be reflected in the station log.

Link-Song Chain Segue Alignment when Early Segue Mark is not set on the Link

The Link-Song Chain Type will set the start of the next event at the early segue point of the previous event. This 'Link-Song Chain Segue Alignment when Early Segue Mark is not set on the Link' option is used for lining up the previous and the next event when an Early Segue Mark is not set. The default setting is Mix In / Trim In / Start of Audio.

The events will line up in the order of the selected option:

Mix In / Trim In / Start of Audio - Zetta will line up the start of the next event with the Mix In / Trim In or Start of Audio of the event with the Link-Song chain. If Mix In is not set Zetta will use the Trim In, if Trim In is not set Zetta will use the Start of Audio.

Segue / Trim Out / End of Audio - Zetta will line up the start of the next event with the Segue / Trim Out or End of Audio of the event with the Link-Song chain. If Segue is not set Zetta will use the Trim Out, if Trim Out is not set Zetta will use the End of Audio.

Note: On upgrade to 4.19.1, existing stations will be set to Segue / Trim Out / End of Audio by default.
