Quick Record

The Quick Record menu option in the Modules menu will open the Zetta Single Track Editor of the Zetta Editor. The Quick Record is a useful tool when the On-Air personality needs to create a quick recording of one time spot event, such as phone calls or impromptu interviews, then edit and play them On-Air. The editor can be mapped to a Keyboard Command Mapping that will allow the recorder to launch and begin recording immediately using the Zetta.OpenQuickRecorder command with the Start recording immediately option. Multiple recordings can be open, allowing the user to continue recording and still edit and play previous recordings. The recording can be saved to the Library or the user can drag and drop a highlighted region to a Module.

The Zetta Single Track Editor is not just a Recorder but also includes some quick editing options. The Zetta Single Track Editor can be accessed by selecting Edit Audio from the right click menu of the Log, Clock, Hot Key or Stack Modules.  Zetta Single Track Editor can also be accessed by selecting Edit Media in the Library toolbar or Metadata toolbar.

The Quick Recorder Type is selected in the Miscellaneous section of the General tab of the User Preferences window. The selected editors record and play device is configured for the computer using the Audio Assignments tab of the Computer Configuration screen. The Quick Record can use the Zetta default audio format or a defined format using the Audio Formats tab in the System Configuration window.
