Custom Asset Type Tabs

Additional asset tabs can be created in the Asset Types tab of the System Configuration window. Once these custom asset types are created they will show as a separate tab in the Library module. These tabs can be used to separate Jingles, Liners, Interviews or specific asset for a user. Custom Asset data is not stored in GSelector when using GSelector Integration. Custom Asset types can have a Metadata Scope of Global, Station or Cuts. The default metadata scope for custom Asset Types is Station. This is also the metadata scope used when Zetta is integrated with GSelector. Custom Asset Types in the Zetta are denoted by an icon  throughout the system. Use the Themes & Appearances configuration window to change the color of the Custom Asset Type  icon.

Custom Asset Type Metadata Card

The Metadata Card of custom asset types is opened when double clicking on an audio asset from its tab in the Library Module. The asset can also be access from other modules in Zetta by double-clicking or using the right-click menu and selecting edit from the resulting menu. The Metadata Card holds information about the audio asset and an Audio Marks Editor, which can be used to make changes to the audio. The Metadata Card can be arranged using tabs or the tabs can be docked in the window to arrange the window as desired, see the Docking and Undocking section of this guide for more details on docking. The toolbar, tab options and fields available for custom Asset Types are similar to the Links metadata card. The following Illustration shows a created Asset Type having a Metadata Scope of station. This means the metadata card will have a station specific tab that holds setting specifically for the station selected in the Stations tab on the left.
