ZCast Transfers

The ZCast Transfer Tool is used to view Inbound, Outbound and NexGen ZCast Transfers. From this window the user can see Pending, Completed, Failed and In Progress transfers. There is a Cancel button available to cancel Pending and In Progress transfers. Once a transfer is complete the user can double-click the asset from the ZCast Transfer window to open the Metadata Card for the asset. Logs, Voice Track Heads and Tails can also be viewed from this window. When the process is completed the Resend button allows the sending site to re-send the packet. There are five different types of ZCast transfers: asset metadata, resource file/metadata, log, log event and log event transitions. The bandwidth used, seen in the Rate column, used by ZCast Transfers can be adjusted in the ZCast tab of the System Configuration. Transfers set with the highest priority will use all the bandwidth available based on what is available on the receiving site. The Transfer Order (Needed By) shows the priority of the transfer. All manual asset transfers get a needed by of now + 24 hours. All log related transfers have a needed by of the hour and date that the log belongs to. For assets transfers through Send log with missing audio, the needed by is set based on the calculated air time. This window allows Grouping and Custom Filtering. The panes in this window can be docked, floating, hidden or pinned. NexGen transfers are used for Multisite Voice Tracking of NexGen sites. ZCast Transfers Toolbar

	Refresh - The Refresh button can be used to refresh the ZCast Transfer window.
	Hide all successful transfers - When selected the Hide all successful transfers button will hide all the successfully Completed transfers from the ZCast Transfers window.  When deselected all the successfully Completed transfers will be visible.

Using the ZCast Transfer Tool

1. To open the ZCast Transfer window click the ZCast Transfer option from the Tools menu.  
2. To Cancel a Pending outbound transfer. Click the Cancel button to the right of the transfer.
3. When a transfer shows a Red Error icon, hover over the icon to see more information.
   
4. To change the Priority of a Transfer right-click the transfer and click High Priority from the resulting menu.
5. To refresh the ZCast Transfer window click the Refresh button.
6. To Hide all successfully completed transfers click the Hide all successful transfers button.
7. To Show all the successful transfers click the Hide all successful transfers button again.
8. To hide failed outbound transfers, click the Hide button to the right of the selected transfer.
9. To open the Metadata Card for the transferred Asset, simply double-click the Asset.
10. To change the column Grouping in the ZCast Transfer window, use the Grouping bar below the Toolbar.
