Clip List

The Clip list pane, of the Zetta Editor, is used to playback, arrange and mix specific pieces of audio without modifying the original file. The Clips range is represented in the track waveform with a light orange highlight color and the clip number. Hover the mouse over the clip to view a tool tip showing the start position in the audio for the clip and the length of the clip. Simply right-click a highlighted region of the audio section and click Add Clip. This will add a clip to the Clip List that can then be moved, by clicking and dragging the clip. The Clip can also be re-sized, by grabbing the edge of the clip and dragging it to the desired size. Once the clip is defined in the Clip List, it can be dragged and dropped from the Clip List into any track in the project. Clips can be dragged and dropped into another Module such as on a Hot Key or into the Log. The Clip List is found in the upper right pane of the Zetta Editor.

This pane can be Floating, Docked/undocked or Hidden/unhidden by right-clicking the pane header and selecting an available option. A pane can only be docked or floating if it is unhidden. The pin in the top right corner of this pane will also hide and unhide this pane. When the pane is hidden it appears as a tab.

The following Tools are available in the Clip List toolbar of the Clip List pane:

Stop - The Stop button will stop the playing of the clip list.

The Mix to File will mix the clips and prompt the user to save to a file. When one of the Send options is selected the user will be prompt to mix the clips or not. Clicking Yes will mix the clips and send the new audio to the location selected. Clicking No will send the clips to the location as separate audio sections.
