Network Operation

The Network Operation tab in the Station Configuration is used to assign GPOs and GPIs to a station for use when the station is in Network mode. The GPOs and GPIs selected in this configuration are also used when capturing GPO and GPI triggers during recordings.

Available GPOs

Available GPOs is a filtered list of configured outputs that will be used for the selected station. GPOs are configured in the GPOs (Outputs) tab for a Configured GPIO Device for a Computer. These will be the available outputs the selected station can use when the station is in Network mode. These Outputs can be viewed and interacted with in the On-Air module. These GPOs are also used when 'Capture Station Output Events' is enabled for a recording.

Available GPIs

Available GPIs is a filtered list of configured inputs that will be used for the selected station. GPIs are configured in the GPIs (Inputs) tab for a Configured GPIO Device for a Computer. These will be the available inputs the selected station can use when the station is in Network mode. These Inputs can be viewed in the On-Air module. These GPIs are also used when 'Capture Station GPI Triggers' is enabled for a recording.

Defer GPI-Triggered Audio until the end of Spot Block

When the Defer GPI-Triggered Audio until the end of Spot Block option is selected, if an Available GPI (Input) is received while the station is playing a spot block and the event assigned to the Input is the playable event, (any Library asset, such as a song, link, spot, rotation, tag or Imaging) the event will be inserted as the last event in block. However, if the GPI (Input) is mapped to a non-library item, such as a command or a macro, it will not be place at the end of the block but instead execute when the closure is received.

Important Note!

The Sequencer Service of the Startup Manager will need to be restarted on each computer that is assigned to a Station.

Respect Chains in Network Mode

The Respect Chains in Network Mode tells Zetta if chained events should be respected in when the sequencer is in Network Mode. This option is deselected by default. When this option is deselected, all events fired in Network Mode are treated as having a stop chain. Routes are toggled when a top level event (e.g. spot block or imaging) gets fired and toggled back when the sequencer reaches the segue / trim out marks of that top level event.

When the Respect Chains in Network Mode is selected, the On-Air and Logs module will allow chains to be set for events and the Sequencer will respect all chains set. When playing groups of events in Network Mode, Zetta will toggle routes when the FIRST top level event starts playing and when the LAST event, with the stop chain, stops playing.
