Adjustments by Daypart windows are used in the Song/Link window, Link Library, Goals and Link Goals sections. They display, for all Dayparts, current Bans and Shifts , and the Minimum Separation Rotation rule. The second adjustments tab window shows Packet Adjustment information, and the third tab window Hour Restriction information. In the Song/Link window, the Adjustments tab shows Bans and Shifts and Minimum Separation adjustments for the selected Song/Link. In the Goals/Link Goals Balance section, the Adjustments tab shows all Bans and Shifts and Minimum Separation adjustments across the station. These are displayed grouped by Daypart, sorted in alphabetical order.
NOTE: Adjustments to the maximum per hour and limit goals and all Rotation Rules (apart from Minimum Separation) are not shown in the Adjustments tab.
The Adjustments by Daypart windows let you troubleshoot Shifts and/or Bans which need to be adjusted in the light of scheduling inconsistencies. As they are grouped by Daypart, instant comparisons can be made between the same Attribute in different Dayparts. If an individual Song is not scheduling the way you want it to, then the Song Adjustments by Daypart window for the selected song will tell you why.

The window opens with all Dayparts displayed in Alphabetical sequence. Note that any part of this window can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking on the relevant header. See the Sorting notes in the Working with Browses topic for more information.
For each Daypart, all Attributes or Participants which have been shifted or banned, and which have had a Minimum Separation value assigned are displayed.
In this illustration, in Sound Codes, the Country, Classic and Power Ballad Sound Codes are cut or boosted for the W/E Evenings Daypart, Long Songs (>4.45) and Power Ballads have been cut in the W/E Days Daypart, while Pop is cut In Nights and W/E Mornings. At the same time, the Artist Attribute shows a Minimum Separation value of 0 days 5 hours for the Eagles in the W/E Days Daypart.
Note that this is a very simple illustration. Typically, a station might have several dozen adjustments implemented. Where a Song has been explicitly Banned in a Daypart, it will be displayed in this window under Attribute: Song ID for that Daypart. Note, too that you cannot edit any setting in this window, but that you can jump directly to the Goals/Balance window for any Attribute, from the Goals Adjustments window, or directly to the Song window from the Song Adjustments tab.
The Goals Balance and Song Adjustments by Daypart windows are identical, with the exception that Adjustments in the Song window are displayed for the selected Song, while in Goals Balance, all Adjustments are displayed.

This column displays the shift or ban applied to the Attribute, Artist, Song or Participant.
Note: When the category of a song/link is changed, the daypart shifts resets to 0. Given that the daypart shifts are relative to the category, they need to be reset when the category changes.
Where a Minimum Separation value has been assigned to the Attribute, Artist, Song or Participant, it is displayed in this column.
This column lists all Dayparts. Each Daypart has a clickable node to allow you to expand the display to see Bans and Minimum Separation assignments for each Daypart.
Where a ban has been implemented, this is displayed in the normal way. In this illustration, all Elton John Artist songs are banned from the AM Drive, while the Naked Eyes song Always Something There To Remind Me is banned as well in the Daypart.
Where a song or song attribute has been boosted or cut, its shift value is displayed in the relevant demand window, and also in the Adjustments by Daypart window under the Shift/Ban column.
Items are sorted in alphanumerical order by Daypart and Attribute name. The Attributes themselves can be sorted in ascending or descending order.
When you first access an Adjustments by Daypart window, all nodes in the display are open, for all Dayparts. To collapse any part of the display, click any node button.
To modify any adjustment, select it in the Adjustments by Daypart window and double-click. This will open the relevant window in the selected Daypart. For example, selecting the Country Sound Code in Afternoon in the main illustration would open the Goals/Balance/Attributes window with their Afternoons Daypart selected, and the Country Sound Code highlighted.
Clicking a banned Attribute, Artist, Song or Participant will open the Goals/Balance/Attribute, Artist, Song or Participant window for the selected Daypart, with the selected item highlighted; clicking an item with a Minimum Separation value will do the same.
