History

The History pane, of the Zetta Editor, records a history of all actions by the user that modify a project. These recorded actions can be used to undo or redo a single action or multiple actions with one click. The History pane can be Docked, Floating in its own window or pinned to hide or auto hide the pane. By default the History pane is hidden in the Project. Use the Advanced button to open the History pane.

The History pane allows the user to go back several steps in the project to undo changes or to Save a project from a specific point. This allows the user to create a template project to reopen and make different changes. To move back to a previous action, simply click that position in the history map or from the Toolbar use Undo (CTRL+Z) and Redo (CTRL+Y) to locate the position. Note all the changes hidden are highlighted in red in the History pane. This allows the user to move forward and back as needed to find the change needed. The state of the history is saved when the project is saved. When a Project is saved any undo red history changes are not saved in the project, however the undo red history changes are still available until the project is closed.
