Name

Use the Name field to give the location a unique meaningful name so it can be recognized elsewhere in the Zetta application.

Type

The Location type can be a Folder, UNC or FTP location.

Host Name

The Host name is the URL address to the FTP server.

Example: ftp.mystation.com

User Name

The User Name is the User name with rights to read and write to the FTP server. For FTP location type, if the User Name and Password are left blank, Zetta will use the anonymous login.

Important Note!

The user will need rights to delete from the designated Remote Folder, when using the location as an Auto Load location, to prevent an infinite loop of re-import of files.

Password

The Password is the password for the User Name entered. For FTP location type, if the User Name and Password are left blank, Zetta will use the anonymous login.

Remote Folder

The Remote Folder is the File Path on the FTP Server where files are located. Zetta looks from the Root of the FTP server, therefore if the user has access to "ftp.server.com/news" and the folder in the news directory where the audio is to be found is "stories" the Remote Folder would be as follows:

Example: News/Stories

Path

The Path field is shown when Folder is selected as the Type. Type in the path to the folder for the location.

UNC Path

The UNC Path field is shown when UNC is selected as the Type. Type in the UNC path to the location.

Use passive mode

FTP may run in active or passive mode, which determines how the data connection is established to the FTP server. Contact the FTP administrator for more information on setting this option.

Enable SSL

To use FTPS (also known FTP-SSL, and FTP Secure) select the checkbox next to the Enable SSL option. Contact the FTP administrator for more information on setting this option.

Test FTP Settings

The Test FTP Settings button will use the entered information above to establish a test connection to the FTP server. If the settings are correct and Zetta can establish a connection to the FTP server the user will receive a Success message. If the settings are not correct and the connection fails contact the FTP administrator to verify the settings.
