Content Ingest

The Content Ingest tab is used to configure Zetta to ingest content into Zetta from an external source. This option is currently only used to ingest Voice Tracks received using STSR from a NexGen system into a stations log. The station logs in the NexGen and Zetta systems must be similar in order for Zetta to match the position to place the Voice Track. GSelector or Flat File log load can be used to schedule the log for these stations. Voice Track slots can be added to the Zetta log but they are not required. Zetta uses the assets External ID to match the assets scheduled in the log therefore the External ID of the assets in Zetta must match the Cart-Cut numbers of the assets in NexGen. When a Content Ingest instance is created it uses the NexGen Voice Track Ingest Launcher service to locate the packet and ingest it into the correct log position in Zetta. The User Activity Report can be used to view the ingest activity for each instance. See the NexGen Guide for instructions on data transfer mapping in NexGen.

Important Note!

Currently Voice Tracks will not load if created between two non-audio events in the log.

STSR is required for this functionality. STSR will require a Licensed Dongle on the computer running the STSR application. Contact RCS Support for assistance.

Access the Content Ingest tab from the System Configuration window in Zetta's Configuration menu.

There are two operations that can be performed from the Content Ingest tab, Add Content Ingest and Delete Content Ingest.

Add Content Ingest – Clicking Add Content Ingest will create a Content Ingest instance that can be configured.

Delete Auto Load – The Delete Content Ingest button will delete the selected configured Content Ingest Instance.

Add Content Ingest

When the Add Content Ingest button is clicked, the following configuration options are available.

Active

The Active option activates the Content Ingest instance. Multiple Content Ingest configurations can be created in this tab.

Content Type

Content Type is used to select the type of content that will be ingested into Zetta. Currently only NexGen Voice Track Ingest is available.

Name

Use the Name field to give the Content Ingest instance a descriptive name.

Network Transfer Path

The Network Transfer Path is the network location of the packet files received from the NexGen system using STSR. The path is typically the IP address of the server and the shared location on the network. This path information will be needed when configuring NexGen Data Transfer Mappings at the remote site.

<IP>/<Transfer Path>

For example, if you were mapping to a computer with an IP of 100.100.100.245 and a transfer path of R:\Transfer, the Network Transfer Path field should read as follows:

100.100.100.245/R:\Transfer

Processed by

Select the configured computer that will process the packet files received from the NexGen system. This computer must have read and write permissions to the Import Directory and the Error folder.

Import Directory

The Import Directory is the location of the packet files received from the NexGen system using STSR. The path can be a drive on the computer or a UNC share path from the network. This path information will be needed when configuring NexGen Data Transfer Mappings. This will usually be R:\Transfer on a Standard NexGen system.

On error move the file to folder

The On error move the file to folder option is the directory that the selected computer will move the Voice Track packet file to if an error occurs when Zetta attempts to ingest the file. This field is optional.

Allow for single log event position marking

Select this Allow for single log event position marking option to allow Zetta to only require a match to a single log event position either before or after the Voice Track position. During Lookup, regardless of this setting, the process will always try to match on both the previous and next log event initially. Only in case of failure, will Zetta try for Single Log Event matching if allowed.

Append Cut to Cart for External IDs

Select Append Cut to Cart for External IDs to have Zetta add a cut number to the Asset External ID of the Voice Track when it is ingested into the system.

Ignore Audio Processing Voice Track Trim Settings

When the Ignore Audio Processing Voice Track Trim option is checked, Zetta will ignore the Voice Track Settings, in the Audio Processing tab of the System Configuration window, when a Voice Track is ingested. When this option is deselected, Zetta will process the Voice Tracks based on the Audio Processing Voice Track Settings. This option is checked by default.
