Manage Log Hours

The Copy Log option from the Log Utilities menu of the Advanced drop-down in the toolbar of the Log Module will open the Manage Hours window for Logs, this window is used to copy, paste or delete hours to manipulate and change the contents of the logs for the selected station or virtual station. The Manage Hours window displays a week at a time. Previous hours are greyed as they are read-only and cannot be changed.

Manage Hours Toolbar

The Manager Hours window has the following toolbar options:

	Save - The Save button is used to save any changes had in the Manage Hours window.
	Undo - The Undo button is used to reverse the previous change made in the Manage Hours window.
	Refresh - Use the refresh button to refresh the Manage Hours window to its original state.

Log Date - The Log Date drop-down arrow displays a Date Control that is used to select a Log Date to view.

Hour Grid

The Hour Grid has the hours of the day down the left side and the days of the week with the date across the top. The copy, paste and delete functions in the grid work similar to a spreadsheet. To highlight a section of the grid simply click and drag the mouse to highlight a section, the highlighted section will be colored as seen below. Optionally, use the CTRL or SHIFT keys to select the cells in the grid.

To Copy the highlighted area press CTRL+C. To paste the highlighted area to another clock or hour in the same clock, simply highlight a different area and press CTRL+V

The area where the copied hours were pasted is set to a different color marking that area as being changed.   

To delete hours in a clock simply click and drag the mouse to highlight the hours and press the Delete key.

Click Save to confirm the changes. This will initiate the copying and/or deletions of the Log hours. This may take a short period of time depending on the number of Log events affected by the process. Click Cancel at the bottom of the window to cancel the process.
