Manage Clock Hours

The Manage Clock Hours button in the toolbar of the Clocks and Recorder Clocks modules opens the Manage Hours window, this window is used to copy, paste or delete hours to manipulate and change the contents of the Standard Clocks or Special Clocks for the selected Station or Background Recorder.

Manage Hours Toolbar

The Manager Hours window has the following toolbar options:

	Save - The Save button is used to save any changes had in the Manage Hours window.
	Undo - The Undo button is used to reverse the previous change made in the Manage Hours window.
	Refresh - Use the refresh button to refresh the Manage Hours window to its original state.

Hour Grid

The Hour Grid has the hours of the day down the left side and the days of the week across the top.

Clock Selection

The Row just below the toolbar shows the Standard Clocks for each day of the week. Use the Select Clock drop-down to select a special clock to use in the hour grid.

Tip: An extra column will be displayed if a Special Clock is selected in the Clocks Module when the Manage Clock Hours button is selected.

Copy, Paste and Delete

The copy, paste and delete functions in the grid work similar to a spreadsheet. To highlight a section of the grid simply click and drag the mouse to highlight a section, the highlighted section will be a different color as seen below.

To Copy the highlighted area press CTRL+C, to paste the highlighted area to another clock or hour in the same clock, simply highlight a different area and press CTRL+V

The area where the copied hours were pasted is set to a different color marking that area as being changed.   

To delete hours in a clock simply click and drag the mouse to highlight the hours and press the Delete key.

Click Save to confirm the changes. This will initiate the copying and/or deletions of the Clock hours, and may take a short period of time depending on the number of Clock events affected by the process.
