Zetta Login

To launch Zetta®, use the shortcut  present on the desktop. A login Screen is the first screen when Zetta is launched.

Until Account Configuration is done in Zetta, login with supervisor as the Account name (no password required) and press Enter or click the Go  button to launch the main application window. When a user logs in to Zetta or Zetta2GO the activity is captured in the Activity Report in Zetta.

Authentication

The Authentication drop-down can be used to select the authentication method required for the user.  The login in to Zetta is persistant so the authentication type and username are saved after a successful login. The next time Zetta is launched, it will pre-populate with the previous Authentication type and Login name. However, if the Zetta log off option is used, the login window will show the previous Authentication type but not the Login name.

There are three options for authentication for Zetta.

Zetta - When the "Zetta" option is selected, the user will use a Zetta only account login and password. The user must have an account in Zetta configured with a User type of "Zetta user". This option will be used until Accounts is configured for each user.

Windows - When the "Windows" option is selected, the user will use a domain account login and password. When this option is selected if the computer is on a domain the current domain will be populated in the Login field. The user can then enter the name of the domain account to use and the password. The password is authenticated against the users domain account in Active Directory. This user must have an account in Zetta configured with a User type of "Windows User".

Current Windows User - When the "Current Windows User" is selected, the user will use the current logged in user account to login. The Computer or Domain/User name is auto-populated. This user must have an account in Zetta configured with a User type of "Windows User". The password is passed to Zetta so the user only needs to press enter or click the login arrow button.

All three options require that a user be created in the Account Configuration window for the corresponding user to login to Zetta.

Auto Login on Startup

Zetta can be setup to start automatically when the computer is logged in and then automatically login a specific user to the Zetta application. Zetta can be set to automatically start in the startup programs or the registry of the computer. Contact the site Administrator for assistance.

Zetta.exe will accept the following parameters:

/user:username - This is the name of the user account defined in Zetta Accounts Configuration. If no password is passed in as a second parameter the UI will show the login screen with username populated but will still require a password.

/password:xyz - This is used to set the password for the user set above. To use an empty password enter:

/password:

or

/password:""

/authtype - This is used to set the Authentication type for the account.

1 represents 'Zetta' user, 2 represents 'Windows' user, 3 represents 'Current Windows User'

Example:

/user:"someuser" /password:"somepassword" /authtype:"1"
